| I joined the Zen Hospice Project as the Grant Writer in October 2006, having worked in fundraising, research, evaluation, nonprofit management,
and public health for over six years. I have a unique combination of skills and life experiences that drew me to Zen Hospice Project. Growing up in a multicultural
family, living in China and Mexico for nearly four years, and traveling across the globe has shaped my vision of ZHP as an essential force that breathes compassion
and humanity into the health care system to reach a diverse, under-served and vulnerable population.

Most recently I worked as the director of development and operations at the Latin American Integration Center, a community-based social service and
advocacy agency in New York City, and at Unicef in Beijing as an HIV/AIDS consultant. I graduated with a B.A. in Cultural Studies from the New School University and
hold a master's degree in human rights from Columbia University, School for International and Public Affairs. Today I live with my partner and two cats in San Francisco
and I spend most of my free time salsa dancing, improving my cooking skills and watching documentary movies.
