Special Skills Volunteer Program
Application (in PDF format)
Not everyone can be at the bedside, but there are many ways individuals can help create a caring environment and actively assist us with fulfilling our mission. On an ongoing basis, we seek gardeners, cooks, people handy with carpentry or other home repair skills, certified massage practitioners, web site designers, graphic designers, people to assist with event logistics, and office support. No special training is required, but we do ask for a 3-month commitment of 2 hours a week, or assistance with special projects within a set time period. In addition, we have a special need for massage therapists to serve at our monthly Staff Massage Clinic.
