From 1990 to 2004, Zen Hospice Project operated the Guest House at 273 Page Street as a residential hospice, earning world renown as an innovative model of end-of-life care. In 2004, the Guest House was closed for much-needed renovations. With careful consultation with our constituents, we began making plans and raising funds to revive our beloved home. This successful multi-year Capital Campaign has now ended.

In 2010, the renovated Guest House reopened with:

• an elevator
• new plumbing, heating, and A/C system
• a beautiful kitchen
• a 2nd floor bathroom with an open shower
• new carpets, paint, tiling, flooring, and furnishings
• a spacious deck and garden
• complete wheelchair accessibility
• a security system and emergency lighting
• fire alarms, fire doors, and a sprinkler system
