EDUCATION
The Bay Area Jewish Healing Center (BAJHC): This organization provides Jewish spiritual care to those living with illness, those caring for the ill, and to the bereaved. BAJHC runs a number of programs that support people through direct services, education, training, and providing referrals. BAJHC approached Zen Hospice Project in January 2004 to collaborate in creating their Kol Haneshama: Jewish End-of-Life Care Program modeled on our well-established Volunteer Caregiver Program, which they saw as an effective means of bringing spiritual practice to the bedside. Initially, we worked with BAJHC on the development, design, production, and evaluation of their program.  We now remain involved in their regular trainings as guest faculty. Visit their site»

University of California San Francisco (UCSF): We are honored to have UCSF Medical Center as a partner in care for our Guest House.  We formed this partnership to ensure financial stability for the Guest House and to create bridges between the spiritual and medical dimensions of caregiving. UCSF maintains two guaranteed bed reservations at the Guest House for their discharged hospice patients.  In turn, these people receive personalized care in the home-like setting of the Guest House. Visit their site»
