Trey DeGrassi
Trey originally came to Zen Hospice Project in December 2005 as the Office Manager. During his tenure, Trey’s role has grown to managing finance, business operations, and human resources at our Administrative Office, and he now fulfills the role of Director of Finance & Administration. Trey brings over a decade of non-profit experience to his role at Zen Hospice Project, including nine years as a volunteer and staff at the National AIDS Memorial Grove in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. As the Program Manager, Trey led 200 volunteers in revitalizing a neglected grove into a sacred place of beauty, memory, and comfort.
In addition to sustaining our day-to-day operations, Trey engages his big heart by leading our drop-in Grief Group and cooking in our Guest House kitchen on a regular basis. Trey is an avid dog lover and lives with his partner of six years in the Hayes Valley neighborhood of San Francisco
