Hal Smyer has provided volunteer bedside care, community outreach and volunteer training with Zen Hospice Project since 2003. He has received extensive training as a clinical chaplain both at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center in Berkeley as well as Sati Center For Buddhist Studies. He is currently endorsed by Spirit Rock Meditation Center as a clinical and community minister.
