Roy Remer

Roy Remer currently serves as our Guest House Volunteer Manager. He is a dedicated educator in the field of hospice care who guides people on their journey through illness, change and loss. As a core member of the Zen Hospice Project community, Roy brings a wellspring of kind and skillful presence to his caregiving practice. He has been centrally involved with Zen Hospice Project since 1997, as a bedside caregiver, a training facilitator, and member of the Board of Directors. He has completed the year-long End-of-Life Care Practitioner Program with Frank Ostaseski at the Metta Institute in Sausalito, CA. Roy also leads outdoor rites of passage programs with the EarthWays collective in Sebastopol, CA.
