Mindful Caregiver Education

Upcoming Training & EducationUpcoming Training & Education

Zen Hospice Project’s Mindful Caregiver Education is designed for those who serve the chronically ill and dying, as well as anyone who is interested in end of life. Our programs help caregivers acquire a range of skills grounded in the foundation of mindfulness, compassion, and practical support of patients, families, and even other caregivers.

We have trained hundreds of professional and family caregivers that have cared for thousands of individuals.   Our unique Mindful Caregiver Education addresses the emotional and spiritual needs of caregivers, while reducing unnecessary suffering at the end of life, both for caregivers and those receiving their care, while at the same time helping caregivers build resilience. One recent particpant shares her experience:

"The most powerful and profound workshop I've ever taken! I loved every part of it. Still processing and using what I learned in sharing with others. It was a great reminder to be present and mindful in every situation...in each moment."

and another:

"I found the Foundations of Mindful Caregiving workshop extremely valuable. The care Zen Hospice Project has for the material and how it was presented made learning easy and fluid.  I learned a lot for my own personal benefit as well as for the benefit of those I care for. I'm deeply grateful."

We are proud to continue to expand our Mindful Caregiver Education in four different formats:
