Individuals, healthcare and social service professionals, and progressive business leaders call upon Zen Hospice Project to bring unique concepts and an integrative learning model to meet their educational needs.
We draw upon more than 20 years of hospice and community-building experience to deliver educational programs that explore the profound and universal experiences of life, death, and personal and collective transformation. Our comprehensive and experiential learning programs are suitable for a variety of settings, such as schools, hospices, healthcare institutions, social service agencies, and residential communities.
Zen Hospice Project is skilled at developing customized programs for any organization’s unique growth and development. We can adapt any of our workshops to meet the needs of your particular group or organization. We work collaboratively to develop trainings that address particular staff needs, such as delivering effective end-of-life care, coping with multiple client loss, and easing compassion fatigue.
To request a speaker presentation or to develop a training for your organization, contact Diane Mailey.
Our agency is better equipped to discuss issues around death with our clients. The consulation was an invaluable experience and we are hoping to make it a part of our regular training schedule.
We believe in the value of our approach and are eager to offer educational programs for people and organizations seeking guidance in providing care for the dying and bereaved.
Embodying the principles of compassionate caregiving, the Zen Hospice Speakers Bureau is a group of our volunteers who bring their vast experience, knowledge, and heart to this undertaking. Presenting on a wide range of end-of-life issues, they are more than happy to share their hospice experience with others.
In so doing, they are catalysts for taking our efforts to the world and making our methods of caregiving more accessible. Requests from schools, care facilities, social service agencies, and other organizations are honored by the delivery of a program that aptly conveys our vision of serving the dying and those touched by loss with open hearts and careful attention.
Our Clients include:
- Bay Area Jewish Healing Center
- Catholic Charities
