Although most of us strive for balance in our lives, the most exciting and often breathtaking performances of Special Guest Muriel Maffre are made by her pushing the outer limits of balance. A former Principal Dancer with the San Francisco Ballet, Muriel uses her innate understanding of momentum and music to create a world where gravity seems arbitrary. Her intelligent approach results in a physical representation of a seemingly spiritual quest. She speaks as eloquently as she dances and is articulate about the many sources of her inspiration and her next steps. In tandem with her artistry is the Mayers' stunning Pacific Heights duplex penthouse overlooking San Francisco Bay, surrounded by contemplative Asian artwork, and filled with warm friends. Meticulously crafted contemporary Asian food completes the circle.
