One Night One Heart

One Night, One Heart 2007

6. Free Radicals
Special Guests: Sam Keen & George Tsongas
Host: Anne Vrolyk
Dinner at Anne Vrolyk's Home by: Two Restaurant - San Francisco

What happens when a self-professed, "over-educated" graduate of Harvard and Princeton, who goes on to become a professor of philosophy and religion, is crossed with a poet who chronicles the energy of San Francisco through the patrons of the famed North Beach Café Trieste? The results will astound you, especially if you're not told in advance which of these Special Guests has a farm in Sonoma or practices the flying trapeze. What we can tell you is that Sam Keen is a contributing editor of Psychology Today, has written 13 books to-date, and was the subject of a Bill Moyers documentary - Your Mythic Journey. George Tsongas was founder and editor of The San Francisco Oracle ?during the Haight-Ashbury days. George also has two new works underway including a novel entitled Wild Broccoli, and a book of poetry entitled Coast Lines, both to be published this fall. It's possible that having immersed yourself in this free-thinking, free-associating and free-wheeling conversation, that you might be inspired to take up a longed-for adventure. "Two" is the successor to Hawthorne Lane, where two chefs, Bridgett Battson and David Gingrass, showcase "fine dining without the pomp and circumstance" and a terrific new menu.
